I just realized my blog was not up today on the page "About the teacher." I was still Ms. Findlay  :) I have now updated it. Check it out when you get a chance.

Explorations

We had explorations last week in math where each student was able to manipulate math objects. We used pattern blocks, base ten blocks, and unifix cubes during math stations. Here are some pictures of the students enjoying the objects.

Yoga

Last Tuesday was our first Yoga session. The class will love it! We have Yoga on Tuesdays at 7:40. Please make sure the kids have time to eat breakfast that morning and can be in the room by 7:30 to be ready to go to Yoga.

Spelling

Don't forget the spelling test on Monday! Enjoy your weekend :)

Pebbles

Yesterday we sorted pebbles with screens into large and small pebbles. We also used the screens to sort gravel into large and small gravel. The class had a great time wearing their science glasses and using their magnifying glasses to look at the characteristics of pebbles and gravel.
