update

We are having a great week this week! We have been working on our math facts tests and the spelling tests were great! We also learned about nickels today and have been learning adjectives are used to make our writing more visual. The kids loved working with their money.

Don't forget permission slips and $6.50 are due tomorrow!

Fun Friday

We had a great day at school! Since it was raining Tuesday, we didn't get to see the fire truck. So we went out for a few minutes today to enjoy the firetruck. We enjoyed it with Mrs. Ellison's class.

On Friday, we had 18/22 students that wore their NMBP shirts, blue or yellow. Please try to remember to wear your shirts on Fridays.

Fire Safety

Today we had some visitors...

The class loved welcoming a few local fire fighters.

The fire fighters came to talk to us about fire safety, stop/drop/roll, and a few other helpful hints but most importantly to show them the uniform (one of our vocabulary words) that the fire fighters wear. They said that this is to help the kids see they aren't scary even though their voice sounds different and the sound of the oxygen tank sounds different!
