Since we filled our compliment jar, the kids wore hats today. They enjoyed it!
In math, we are talking about standard and non-standard units of measurement. The kids learned that a standard unit of measurement is the same no matter who is measuring but the non-standard varies based on who uses it. Here, they are making their feet to measure different things around the room (non-standard unit of measurement).
